If you cannot find joy, or you do not know what this is (many people have forgotten), Joyful Return organic flower essence is an ally in helping you find and understand it. This essence is also suitable for those who feel disconnected from Nature and cannot appreciate Her gifts because of such a deep disconnect to those natural aspects within themselves. This is an essence of oneness with the Earth and all of her loving creatures.
 
Joyful Return is aligned with Cernunnos, Stag deity and Lord Of The Wild Creatures, as I really feel the communication of this essence offers the opportunity to connect deeply with the freedom of expression, to be ourselves, just as the wild creatures do. The Stag calls out in the woodland, the Wolf howls in the forest, the Birds sing on the branches. One of the many things these creatures have in common is their connection with the Earth, specifically the Trees, which are living, loving, wisdom keepers on Earth. When we lose our connection with the magic of the world, we lose a part of ourselves, we lose joy. We try to replace it with material goods - clothes, phones, food, jewellery, cars - but it is IRREPLACEABLE. This is a deeply important teaching of this essence. Earth magic cannot be substituted or replaced.
 
A SIDE NOTE
The increasing fashion for installing a green plastic carpet in gardens, which will thankfully weaken in time but not before some devastating effects on the ecology, natural habitats, the environment and waterways, is indicative of a disconnect with Nature, a physical manifestation of the severing of the human being from Nature and therefore an attempt to severe the natural - the unpredictable, glorious wildness, the inconvenience truth - in ourselves. 
If you or someone you know is considering installing or has installed artificial 'grass', this essence may encourage you to rethink that nature-killing nonsense and come to your senses and get yourself a decent gardener who can help you create a haven for wildlife that suits your requirements. 

  • The photographs available on each label and listing for every VOLVA flower spirit essence is of the actual flower that the essence has been created from - no generic plant pictures here - so the picture of the flower on the label actually reflects the vibration of the essence. This is provided as an additional way to help you intuitively connect with the plant, in addition to the information in the listing and the keywords of its medicine.

    I recommend focusing attention on your body and your mental, physical and emotional responses when you see the photograph or read the information on the essences, to guide you to the right essence(s) for you at this moment. 

    It is often useful to work with one essence at a time - in this way we begin to understand the uses and gifts of each essence - for around 28 days or until you feel the issue is resolving or a different essence is required for another layer of healing. Essences do however work very well together so if more than one essence speaks to you, go with your intuition.


    The Solar and Lunar variations of one single flower essence are excellent companions and work well together for balance. The potency of working with both Sun and Moon together can be increased by working with the Solar essence in the morning and the Lunar essence before bedtime. Do be guided by how you feel both in relation to working with the Sun and The Moon together, and in working with more than one essence and how they would align.
