How will you know how to recognise the sharp pin pricks to the soul, and how to heal from these, when you do not come across them? Do not aspire to an 'easy life' without struggle, there is no such thing in this realm. This organic flower essence is suitable for those who gently need reminding of - or shown how to navigate - the thorns of life and not long for a world where they don't exist.
 
This essence can help encourage us to view struggle and sacrifice differently. Often we long for a life without struggle but this is not possible and for us to appreciate the physical world, and truly live, we must accept this. But Bloody Thorns can help teach us that, in these places of pain, can be found the most profound wisdom.
 
There is an element of the Christ Consciousness about this essence but it does not pertain to any religion. It is the symbolism that is important; there is a sacredness to sacrifice, whether this be a physical one or the giving up our daydreams of a life without thorns.
 
To toil - 'blood, sweat and tears' - can bring reward but it may not be what you imagine. They may not be material - money, cars, homes - but more of a spiritual gift; to learn, adapt, overcome, achieve, build.
